Terms of Service

By accessing or using the El Cielo Hotel website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our site. These terms apply to all visitors, guests, and users of our online reservation system.

Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or via email. A valid credit card is required to guarantee most bookings. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date (by 12:00 PM Rwanda time) will not incur charges. Late cancellations or no‑shows will be charged one night's room rate. Group bookings and special packages may have different cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking. Early departures are considered cancellations and may be charged accordingly.

All rates are quoted in Rwandan Francs (RWF) but may be displayed in other currencies for reference. Payments can be made by cash, credit/debit card, or mobile money (MoMo). The hotel reserves the right to pre‑authorise your card prior to arrival. Any additional services consumed during your stay (minibar, restaurant, laundry) will be charged to your room and must be settled upon check‑out. Any price changes will be notified in advance; existing confirmed reservations are protected at the booked rate.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests and staff. El Cielo Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or evict any person who engages in illegal activities, causes disturbance, damages property, or violates hotel policies. The hotel shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to guests' belongings unless caused by gross negligence on our part. We recommend keeping valuables in the in‑room safe or at the front desk safe.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission. The website is provided “as is” without warranties; we strive to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee it is always up‑to‑date. These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these terms or your stay shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kamonyi District, Rwanda.
